The National Community Investment Fund will meet November 12-14 for it's annual Development Banking Conference. Hosted in the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, attendees will have the opportunity to "connect with CDFI Bank leaders, impact investors, and others; discuss actionable strategies; innovate and explore new opportunities for impact."
"The 2013 Conference will showcase innovations in community development banking. Mission-oriented banks have proven to be extraordinarily resilient both in reacting to financial challenges and in meeting the needs of economically distressed communities. By building on innovative practices and evolving our vision of CDFI Bank 2.0, the industry will continue to excel and grow."
